Boston Dynamics continues to create some of the most terrifying and incredible robots in the modern world.
Previously owned by Google’s parent company Alphabet, they recently released a teaser video of their latest robot dog, the SpotMini. Robot dog probably doesn’t do the SpotMini justice… it is a small four legged robot weighing around 25kg. It’s completely electric and can go or about 90 minutes on a charge. The applications for such a robot are endless from military to supporting people with disabilities.
The video itself shows a streamlined version of their previously bulkier robot dog. The new model looks sleak and agile and will no doubt cause a lot of excitement when it’s fully launched.
You can watch the video below but be warned… there is something eerily terrifying about the way it moves, especially when it stops and stares directly into the camera!
